Arne Slot's side had to work hard to secure three more Premier League points at Anfield after opening up a two-goal lead in the first half.
A Luis Diaz strike and a Mohamed Salah penalty put the Reds firmly in control at the interval.
However, Matheus Cunha's goal in the 67th minute forced Liverpool to show a different side to their game, defending with determination to claim victory.
Quansah, who was introduced as a substitute early in the second half against Wolves, gave his post-match reaction to LiverpoolFC.com.
Read on for his thoughts on a very close result...
On victory...
It was a battle. I think they threw everything they could at us and it's one of those games where you have to show your mentality. It's not always going to be perfect, but the toughest ones are always good when you get the three points.
On having control of the match at half-time with two goals in the first half...
That's what we planned to do. Fortunately, in the first half it went that way and we managed to get a decent lead. Obviously, it's a shame that we conceded the goal and it's a shame that from then on the momentum is probably theirs. I think we handled it very well. I think the guys who came off the bench helped the game a lot and sometimes that's what you need. It's definitely a team game and you need everyone at all times.
Entering the interval and being thrown into a competitive match...
I think Ibou [Konate] presented a challenge and they came to me and told me to be ready. Obviously, as a substitute you have to be ready anyway, I always have been. I'm grateful to have been able to help the team.
On what changed in the second half to allow Wolves to get back into the game...
I would probably have to reflect on the game but I think I can only talk about when they scored their goal. Like I said, it's the momentum. Obviously, it's hard sometimes to keep pushing when you know we need the win. It's hard to go all out and I think we know we can defend in the low block and that's what we had to do at times and it worked today.
By finding whatever way is necessary to win games...
That's it. You have to have a lot of things in your arsenal to win the Premier League. Being able to do well and play football the way we want to, but at the same time showing the negative side of the game and showing that we are capable of doing that. We will have to do that more and more towards the end of the season. As long as we are prepared and know that we can do what we have just shown, I think we will be in a good position.
On his vital block in the Liverpool box towards the end of the match...
It's always good to help the team in that sense. I think I'm just doing my job and that's all I have to do. I saw the man behind me and I knew I had a challenge to take on. Like I said, the guys coming off the bench had some crucial [blocks], probably more important than mine in managing the momentum. I think we're very grateful to have gotten the three points.
.
As for the importance of the three points with a busy week ahead...
It's looking more and more like that, especially with the busy schedule. We're going to need everyone, so we'll see how the games go. The most important thing now is the three points and trying to pick up more and more as the weeks go by.
