Barça will continue to trust Robert Lewandowski for another season, having renewed his contract until 2026, but this does not mean that they are not considering the arrival of a centre forward who can give him a rest and allow Hans -Dieter Flick to rotate.

Because one of the biggest problems that exist in the squad right now is that there is no other player who can take on the role of the Polish striker, as Pau Victor has not met expectations.

Ferran Torres has occasionally performed well, but he is not inconsistent enough, and his place in the team next season is not guaranteed, as Joan Laporta and Deco will study the offers they receive.

So a new '9' is being sought, although he would have to arrive on very favourable terms, accept a low salary, and above all, accept that his role will be secondary. And Roberto Firmino meets all these conditions.

He has expressed his desire to leave Saudi Arabia to return to Europe, and he can do so for free. Because he will not continue at Al-Ahli, the team he joined in 2023, and where he was captain until recently.

However, and against all odds, he has not been registered in the league, as a sign of the tension that exists. He has never fully met expectations, and the intention is to terminate the contract he has, as Neymar Junior did recently.

The Brazilian has not thought twice and has offered himself to the Spotify Camp Nou to be Lewandowski's substitute. An operation that could be very interesting, since it would not cost anything and would provide valuable experience.

And we must not forget that at one time he was one of the best attackers in the world, when he played for Liverpool , where he became a legend, and formed a fearsome trident alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané.
