Mohamed Salah moves up to third place on Liverpool's all-time scoring list

Mohamed Salah has moved up to third place on Liverpool's all-time scoring charts.

The Egyptian far surpassed Gordon Hodgson by scoring his 242nd goal for the Reds, from the penalty spot, against Southampton on Saturday.

Salah, who joined from AS Roma in the summer of 2017, rose up the table in what was his 390th appearance for the club.

181 of his Liverpool goals have come in the Premier League, while he has scored 45 times in the Champions League, six in the Emirates FA Cup, five in the Europa League, four in the Carabao Cup and once in the Community Shield.

Only Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285) have scored more goals for the Reds than the No.11.
