The Liverpool captain writes: "Every game at Anfield is special, but Sunday's game has that bit more meaning.
«The LFC Foundation is celebrating its Community Day, an event held to commemorate the incredible work they do. I have been lucky enough to see this work up close and I couldn't be more impressed.
“Everyone knows that we are a football club first and foremost, but it is really important that we can be so much more than that, especially in a city like Liverpool where community and togetherness are part of the fabric.
«I encourage everyone reading this to learn more about the work that the LFC Foundation does and to get involved in whatever way they can and help them support more people in our communities.
“I recently met Mark Henderson from the LFC Foundation, who has been named the club’s Premier League Community Captain for this season, and hearing his story and the dedication he has to helping people is incredible. It will be a privilege to be able to present him with his award before the game.
“On the pitch, our aim for Sunday is simple. We want to win every game we play, whether at Anfield or elsewhere, and we hope to be able to show our best against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“It has been a very difficult period for all of us, with many matches in different competitions being played at full speed.
“Everyone was disappointed with the way we went out of the FA Cup at Plymouth Argyle last weekend. It was a competition we wanted to compete in so to be knocked out in the fourth round and after a performance that didn’t live up to expectations was a disappointment for all of us.
"We were also disappointed, of course, with the way the game against Everton ended on Wednesday.
“To be so close to a big win, to have worked so hard to get ourselves into that position and then to concede such a late equaliser is obviously very frustrating and I think that can be seen at full time. We wanted the three points so it was hard to get at that stage.
"But now that things have calmed down, we also have to look at the bigger picture. We are in a very good position and there are still a lot of games to play in the coming weeks.
"We don't need to dwell on one result too much, we just have to keep going, keep showing what we've shown so far this season and keep moving forward. And so on until Sunday, and another tough test against a team with a lot to play for.
“Forget about the standings, this is a Wolves team that will be highly motivated and have the quality to cause any opponent problems. We had to work really hard to get the three points when we visited Molineux earlier in the season, and we hope that will be the case again.”
.
"We will have to be in top form, ready to fight and fight, and prepared to stay calm at all times to get the result we want.
"We consider ourselves very fortunate to have their wonderful support and we will draw strength from it again, hoping to ensure that everyone has plenty to say when the final whistle blows."
