Liverpool won their fifth consecutive Premier League victory on Wednesday in the rescheduled match of the 28th match day at Anfield against Fullham who won by a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mohamed Salah who scored from the penalty spot, taking the Reds to 59 points and putting them in fifth place in the standings.
The match was very difficult from start to finish as Fulham were a good opponent but also because of Liverpool's defensive and attacking lapses. The team coached by Jürgen Klopp had several chances to extend their lead but the attackers were not convincing enough to score the second goal on the night.
While the Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson was the star of the match making important saves to prevent the visitors' goal, the player who had the least luck during the match was the Uruguayan Darwin Nunez who was very imprecise despite starting and this has generated a lot of criticism from the fans but also from his teammates.
It was in the second half before he came on as a substitute when Nunez came forward in a play in which Trent Alexander Arnold had possession of the ball and when he tried to assist the South American striker he simply lost sight of the ball which caused great anger on the part of the number 66, something that was recorded on the television broadcast which shows the desperation of his teammates for the failures of Nunez.
