With just hours to go before the visit of Liverpool at Anfield, Manchester United are experiencing a lot of problems. He has long been a strong candidate for a move away. In fact he was included in the list of six players with options to leave Old Trafford that we saw in the last few hours. Now Fabrizio Romano reveals the next destination for Donny Van de Beek.

The 26-year-old will be heading to German side Eintracht Frankfurt, who have verbally agreed a loan deal with the Red Devils. The Germans will strengthen their squad by paying a fee and keeping a €15m purchase option. The Dutchman has barely made 2 appearances this season. On the other hand, Manchester United have set their sights on strengthening their defence and are reportedly interested in signing talented English defender Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan. Valued at €40 million, Tomori has attracted the attention of the English club following his standout performances in Serie A.

The 25-year-old defender, who left Chelsea to join Milan in 2021, has been a key figure in the Rossoneri's defence. His performances have attracted the interest of Manchester United, who are keeping a close eye on his performances in Italy, according to reports on MilanWeb. Tomori has made 127 appearances for AC Milan, helping them to the league title in the 2021/22 season and leading them to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

Goodbye Van de Beek and Tomori would not arrive

Manchester United, looking to bolster their defence, are reportedly pushing for the signing of Tomori in the near future. The uncertainty surrounding the future of Raphael Varane, who has lost ground under coach Erik ten Hag, could accelerate United's move for the Milan defender. However, different sources from Italy suggest that the player is not convinced to sign for United mainly because of his poor form and Ten Hag's overbearing management.
