Alisson reveals how Liverpool fans feel about Nunez after his brace against Newcastle

It was a fantastic win that will be remembered for a long time that our Liverpool team achieved at St. James Park against Newcastle United, as not only was it a game in which the team had to come from behind, but also did so in very unfavorable circumstances due to the fact that they had to play for more than an hour down to ten men.

As expected from John Brooks, our Liverpool was once again the target of very questionable decisions by the refereeing staff, which resulted in the sending off of captain Virgil van Dijk, who not only missed the rest of that game but could miss several matches due to his reaction to the unfair red card he received.

However, Jürgen Klopp's team showed what they are made of and under those adverse circumstances were able not only to avoid defeat but to win the game, thanks in large part to Alisson Becker's saves and of course to Darwin Nunez's brace, who came on as a substitute and played less than twenty minutes.

The 30-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper, who was key to Liverpool's win against Newcastle, revealed what the reaction of the club's fans is when Darwin Nunez comes on the pitch and how loved the Uruguayan is by the fans. "When he comes on in a game they shout his name already: Nunez! Nunez! We make a few jokes with him about that as well, but I'm serious, I say to him so many times people here at Liverpool they love you and they want you to do well" he said.
