A tournament full of bad decisions came to an end at Liverpool. The most obvious answer is the drop in play of some of the club's icons, coupled with injuries that set the course of The Pool's destiny. One of the most disappointing signings for the fans was Arthur Melo, who left Turin for Merseyside.

The Carioca midfielder arrived in the transfer deathline, and even a section of the fans questioned Klopp's decision to invest in a player who, since leaving Barcelona, has not been the same. Diario SPORT confirmed that The Pool had given up on exercising the option to buy him, and had already informed Juventus.

According to Mundo Deportivo, The Pool had the option to pay €37.5 million for Arthur's charter which after his multiple injuries, Klopp made the decision to scrap. In addition, Salary Sports reported that the 26-year-old midfielder earns £126,000 per week, £6,552,000 per year.

Money down the drain

Taking this into account, the future for Arthur does not look good, after the disastrous campaign that left Juventus without Champions League, Allegri continues in the same line of not taking him into account, and even newspapers in Italy, point out that he will leave again on loan.  Arthur has never been able to compete for a place in midfield this season.
