Pep Guardiola made history again, this time at the helm of Manchester City. The Spanish coach managed to win his second treble, becoming the first manager to achieve this feat. After winning everything with the English team, the DT is thinking about leaving the team. The coach still has a contract until 2025, so Manchester City still looks to win more titles, however, according to The Guardian, the coach would not renew his contract and would be ready for another challenge.
Pep Guardiola has every intention of leaving Manchester City in two years' time, when his contract expires. The manager has all but decided that he will leave in the summer of 2025 and end his tenure after nine years,'' the English outlet revealed.
Guardiola has managed Manchester City in 413 games, far surpassing the 161 with Bayern Munich and 247 with Barcelona. Since his arrival the manager has won 14 titles with the Citzens. Although it is not yet known whether Guardiola will join another team at the end of his time in England, these next two years could put him as the winningest manager in history, surpassing Sir. Alex Ferguson.
While there is talk in England of Guardiola's departure after finally winning the Champions League, all eyes are now on German Jurgen Klopp who is one of the longest-serving managers in the Premier League. However, his stay with the Reds is secure to everyone's surprise, as he intends to serve out his contract until 2026.
