Mohamed Salah was at his best again, this time in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where Egypt struck a blow by beating Naby Keïta's Guinea, who was reunited with his former club team-mate. Salah and Keïta played the full 90 minutes in Egypt's 2-1 win over Guinea.

At the other end of the world, the England national team is in training for the games against Malta and Macedonia, with the Red's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson, who are back in Southgate's squad. During their time with the media, both gave the inside story on Three Lions.

In information from Goal, Alexander-Arnold spoke about the best player he has ever played with, and obviously like most of his Liverpool teammates, they surrender at the feet of the Pharaoh Mo Salah who closed the season in the Premier League with 19 goals. "Mo Salah. I think because he scores a lot of goals, and for him to do it so consistently, he's the best," said the England defender.

Salah versus Henderson

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson went off on a tangent to avoid answering who was better, Buyako Saka or Mohamed Salah, to which the England midfielder chose not to reply, once again underestimating Mo's quality and talent. Henderson will be 33 years old in a few days, taking on a new role on Merseyside.
