After the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo last January by Al-Nassr and the immediate signing of Karim Benzema by Al-Itthhad, Saudi Arabia is ready to go all out for other European football stars. According to SkySport Germany on Monday, one of the Saudi Arabian league's next targets is FC Barcelona striker and LaLiga top scorer Robert Lewandowski.

Sources close to the Polish striker confirmed to MD that Arab football is looking for Lewandowski, 34, but ruled out that the Barcelona '9' is considering leaving Barça. Despite the astronomical offer on the table, Lewandowski has no intention of leaving FC Barcelona, with whom he has a contract until June 2025. Lewy forced to the maximum last summer to leave Bayern Munich because his desire was to play at Camp Nou and now, a year later and feeling very comfortable at the Catalan club, the Pole is not willing to give up on Barça no matter how much money they offer him in Arabia

Lewandowski appreciates that at Barça he has found a competitive club - he has won LaLiga and the Super Cup in his first year - and accepted the challenge of leaving Bayern because he was attracted to being one of the leaders of the team, in which he could help the young talent that exists in the squad. Pedri, Gavi, Araujo, Balde? receive constant advice from the Pole. From his entourage they detail that "there is no option" for him to go to Arab football because Lewandowski "loves Barça". Both he and his family are very happy at the club and living near the beach in Castelldefels.

He's leaving Anfield and going to Arabia

While Robert Lewandowski turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia, there is one Liverpool player who would accept the millions to go to this exotic destination. According to various reports the Brazilian Roberto Firmino is thinking of signing for a Saudi Arabian team to become one of the stars who will play in that country alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
