The 29-year-old Egyptian player has been a key man in Jurgen Klopp's game plan throughout the seasons they have worked together, with the Reds' historic striker achieving a high level of play not only because of his coach's great guidance, but also because of the meticulous physical and nutritional care he takes on a daily basis.

As is the case with players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Salah's social media accounts are rarely seen with publications that do not revolve around football, especially those on Instagram where the Liverpool legend shows off his gym routines, a situation that is often different to that of the rest of his teammates.

Perhaps the most recent example of Salah's posts is with his defensive partner Virgil van Dijk, as the Dutchman has recently been seen in videos of him inside a McDonald's apparently handing out a tray of ice cream produced by the same burger franchise.

Salah keeps it professional off the pitch

On more than one occasion the Egyptian player has said for the cameras that his nutrition is an essential part of being able to perform in matches, opting for light breakfasts that he sometimes accompanies with fruit, leaving his main source of energy for the afternoons where he consumes food with more calories, accepting Mo'that he could consume anything but prefers not to do so in order to continue under this regime that has given him so many results to date.
