Another low blow for Liverpool on Saturday in the 22nd round of the Premier League

Another low blow for Liverpool on Saturday in the 22nd round of the Premier League. They lost 3-0 to Wolverhampton at Molineux Stadium. Jürgen Klopp's side put in a very poor performance which cost them another defeat of the season. Cameroonian defender Joel Matip was one of the poorest performers in the match.

The game started badly for the Reds as they went two-nil down in the first 15 minutes. First an own goal by defender Joel Matip and then a goal by Craig Dawson taking advantage of Liverpool's weak defensive zone.

Klopp fed up, after defeat to Wolverhampton, changes he will make to save Liverpool

In the second half Liverpool improved and had several chances to score but Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez were inaccurate in their finishing. As the game was coming to an end Ruben Neves popped up to score the final 3-0. Liverpool remain winless in the Premier League in 2023.

<strong>Shambolic</strong>

Former star Jamie Carragher delivered a scathing criticism of Liverpool defenders Joe Gomez and Joel Matip after the defeat to Wolverhampton. He called for Van Dijk to be reinstated as soon as possible: It's not too difficult to play centre-back alongside the leader of the back four, judging the CBs when they have to lead themselves.  Shambolic
