Liverpool No 11 Mohamed Salah scored his 159th goal for the Reds on Monday against Manchester United, overtaking Michael Owen, who scored 158 during his time at Anfield, to move into eighth place in the team's all-time scoring charts.
Salah's latest goal came in his 258th game since joining the club from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. Monday night's goal took the Egyptian's tally to 120 Premier League goals, 34 in the Champions League, four in the Emirates FA Cup and one in the FA Community Shield.
Salah's next target on the goalscoring list is Sir Kenny Dalglish, who is in seventh place having finished his time at Anfield with 172 goals. These are Liverpool's all-time leading goalscorers

Goals from Jadon Sancho in the 16th minute and Marcus Rashford in the 53rd minute saw Manchester United beat Liverpool in the Premier League Matchday 3 derby at Old Trafford on Monday night. Mohamed Salah scored the equaliser in the 81st minute and although Liverpool came close, they were unable to find an equaliser.
