Origi is now looking to relaunch his career

The arrival of Belgian player of Kenyan descent Divock Origi at AC Milan last season did not meet the expectations of the 'Rossoneri'. Welcomed as a free agent from Liverpool, AC Milan are urgently looking for a new destination for the 28-year-old, who scored just two goals in 36 appearances.

Milan are having a transfer market that, if it doesn't have an A grade, is very close to it. Because they have signed a lot and very well, but they are also doing the most complicated thing, which is to get rid of players they don't have.

And that is the case, or the attempted case, of Divock Origi. The Belgian, who does not count for Stefano Pioli at Milan, has been sidelined since last June, but there are no concrete offers for his sale. Milan have lowered their demands and are open to a transfer with an option to buy. According to Sky Sport, the Rossoneri do not want to pay the striker's wages. And with these conditions, Burnley, Torino, Udinese and Bologna are after him.

After being Liverpool's hero against Barcelona in 2019 and scoring in the Champions League final, Origi is now looking to relaunch his career and is close to signing for a Premier League side. According to Fabrizio Romano, he is close to signing for Nottingham Forest, so his return to Anfield could be on Sunday 29 October when they face Liverpool as visitors.
