Fabio Carvalho is Liverpool's new signing

The arrival of Portugal's promising youngster Fabio Carvalho at Liverpool became official on Sunday. The 19-year-old striker arrives directly from Fulham and after a great season in which he achieved promotion to the Premier League, he was signed by the Reds.

In the 2020-21 Championship season with the Cottagers, Fabio played 36 games and contributed 10 goals and eight assists. As a result, the London team finished first in the table and was promoted to the top flight. 

"What a talent he has, huh? A player who can bring a stadium to its feet. He puts his personality into his performances, is confident and adventurous on the ball, and wants to make things happen. He is a versatile player without a doubt and is a great attacking threat with his creativity and dynamism." said the german coach. 

How does he feel about coming to a club like Liverpool?

"It's an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest. So I'm happy to be here and I can't wait to get started," Carvalho told Liverpool's official website. 

The Anfield team can already count on him for the team's pre-season friendlies to adapt to the coach's idea.
