When the Portuguese was stretchered off, there was concern among Liverpool staff, especially Jürgen Klopp who is struggling to field a line-up of sufficient standard to compete in the Premier League. Several sources say that after tests carried out on Carvalho, the injury was not serious and was only the pain of a heavy blow, so his absence will not be prolonged. Liverpool's injury list includes Jordan Hernderson, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ibrahima Konaté and goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher.
Several sources say that after studies made to Carvalho, the injury was finally not Fabio Carvalho was included in the list of players who will play the group stage of the Champions League. The Reds' debut will be this Wednesday when they visit Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. But the Portuguese could be back in Jürgen Klopp's squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton.
