Although the season that just ended was not the best for Liverpool, as they failed to qualify for the Champions League, the team led by Jürgen Klopp still has great players who, given the failure of the season, are being sought after by several clubs in Europe. One of the most talked about is Andrew Robertson, who is on the radar of big teams that could go for him this summer.

Robertson, 29, has been at Liverpool for six years and is under contract with the Reds until June 2026, however, with Liverpool not participating in the next Champions League, teams like Real Madrid could tempt the Scottish left-back to look for a new destination for the next campaign.

Although the possible departure of Robertson would have a strong impact on Anfield, the German coach Jürgen Klopp has already thought of his eventual replacement, considering that if Andrew Robertson leaves the club, he would leave behind a substantial amount of money, since the Transfermarkt portal has him valued at 48 million euros, however the Anfield board could ask for more than that.

Klopp and his coaching staff would not waste time to contact one of the best players in the Premier League in that position, so if Robertson's departure is completed they would go for the best left back of last season and who was in the ideal team of the Premier League, the 25-year-old Ecuadorian, Pervis Estupiñán.

Estupiñán's season in the Premier League

The left back who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion, Pervis Estupiñán, has had his best season since he arrived in English soccer, playing in 35 games and surprising his club's fans. His value, according to the Transfermarkt portal, is 20 million euros, so his signing would be very affordable for Anfield.
