With just over a month until the transfer window opens, Liverpool will have to compete with Real Madrid in order to sign one of the most wanted players this offseason, and according to various reports, there is more teams interested in this talent to reinforce their squads ahead to the next season.
It is well known that, after the failure of this season, the Reds want to improve their midfield zone, and are willing to open the checkbook to get the best possible players, as the club's primary intention is to return to the Champions League as soon as possible.
One of the most heared names is Newcastle's Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, who has been valued by his club at no less than 87 million euros. But money is not going to be Liverpool's only issue, because Real Madrid is also highly interested in acquiring the services of the 25 year-old, and according to the portal Goal, both clubs have already contacted the Magpies to ask about Guimaraes.
Guimaraes is one of Jürgen Klopp's favorite candidates to reinforce the team, however is not going to be easy bring him to Merseyside, this because of the several world-class clubs that intends to put Bruno at their own teams (FC Barcelona is also interested). Guimaraes just had a terrific season with Newcastle United, being a center piece in the club's return to the UEFA Champions League and it will be very hard that the Magpies let him go easily.
Bruno Guimaraes, who scored 5 goals and 5 assists in 40 games the last season, is reported to be very happy at Newcastle United as well as he think he is at a ver good place in his carreer, so he has no plans to leave the club for the time being. However, if Liverpool or some othe big club makes a good offer he could rethink it.
