'He hasn't adapted', the harsh criticism of this Liverpool striker

With the departure of the Senegalese star Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich in exchange for 33 million euros, the young Uruguayan attacker Darwin Núñez landed at Anfield trying to provide solutions to the attack of the team led by German coach Jürgen Klopp. But so far the South American has not been able to show his full potential and the fans are hoping that he will soon be able to live up to all the expectations placed on him.

However the start of the red adventure of Darwin Núñez has not been as expected because so far this season he has only been able to play five games and scored 21 in the Premier League and another in the community shield that the team won against Manchester city. But the Uruguayan has attracted more attention for his unsporting attitudes such as the headbutt he gave to Danish defender Joachim Andersen during a match against Crystal Palace, which earned him a three-match ban. 

That is why the journalist Daniel Delaney has given a strong criticism about Darwin Núñez assuring that he will have to adapt as soon as possible to English football to start scoring goals and thus help Liverpool who for now is living a bad moment with two wins so far this season and after being beaten in the beginning of the Champions League group stage against Napoli by a score of 41 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. 

Must adapt quickly'

Something that many within Liverpool feel is that there was a failure to replace Sadio Mane in the summer. Darwin Núñez has potential but still needs adapting, whereas the Senegalese was a genuinely world class player. It is a problem that is spreading.
