Striker Darwin Núñez finished his season in England and is travelling to Uruguay, where he will be the star of a friendly match in Quaraí, on the border with Artigas, his hometown. Núñez arrives with his family and his wife Lorena Mañas posted a romantic photo on Instagram with the following message: "Any place in the world seems beautiful to me if it's with you my love".

 

The same was answered by the footballer, who wrote: "With you I will go hand in hand to the last corner of the world, thank you for joining me, I was very excited, I love you". The match scheduled in the North is between Darwin Núñez's friends and the Artigas national team. The mayor Pablo Caram described it as a "historic event".

The event is called Love on the Border and will be in dispute of the Border Super Cup to be played at the Estadio Aluízio Falcao de Quaraí. Darwin, "the great guest of the night", will be in charge of one of the teams in the match, in which he will be joined by Rubén Paz and Joe Bizera, according to NNTV.

 

The new team

There will be children's football matches involving teams from both border cities such as Escuela Rubén Paz, Planap, Bataclã, Concordia, Escuela Chapecoense, Escuela de Matanza, San Eugenio de Artigas and 14 de Julio Santana do Livramento. The highlight of the event will be the match that will have Darwin as the star, which can be seen through Facebook or YouTube of NNTV, with time to be confirmed.
