Although the season that has just ended has not been the best for Liverpool in recent years, there is no doubt that the Anfield squad has been one of the most successful since the arrival of Jürgen Klopp, who has managed to lead the team to win as many trophies as possible. However, before the arrival of the German coach, the team went through complicated times in which they did not win many titles, so those players who managed to do so were consecrated as stars of the club.

In the 2011-2012 season, Liverpool had great players such as Pepe Reina, Steven Gerrard and Luis Suárez, who led the Anfield team to the only title of that campaign, in which the fans celebrated winning the FA Cup.

Also playing in that team was a young Englishman named Jonjo Shelvey, who won the hearts of Anfield thanks to his commitment and passion on the pitch, when he formed one of the best midfield duos in the Premier League alongside the legendary Steven Gerrard.

Shelvey was then one of Liverpool's most promising players and managed to become a champion with the team that never walks alone, before his departure to Swansea City in 2013. In addition to winning the FA Cup in 2012, Shelvey also achieved promotion to the Premier League with Newcastle United, being a key part of that team.

What has happened between Shelvey and his manager?

Currently, Jonjo Shelvey belongs to Nottingham Forest and six months ago he had a strong argument with the team's coach, Steve Cooper, which caused Shelvey to have less and less activity with the Nottingam team. Everything would have started due to the former Liverpool player's annoyance for his lack of participation with the team, which would have caused the eventual fight with Cooper. Now, the coach wants nothing to do with him, so they are already looking for a new club for him, despite the fact that Shelvey has a contract until 2025.
