Throughout its history, Liverpool has had great players and Anfield is home to great legends who marked an era with the club. In Jürgen Klopp's first years as manager of our Liverpool, the team had players of great quality who, to the disgrace of all the fans, had failed to win a really important title despite having players of great level and who promised to be the stars of the team in the years to come.

That team had players such as Philippe Coutinho, Mario Balotelli and Daniel Sturridge, three players who looked set to become not only great stars, but who many considered to be talented enough to become legends of the team. One of those who excited the fans the most was precisely Daniel Sturridge, as the English attacker had shown great qualities and a great potential that quickly won him the affection of the fans.

However, the fate was not what many of us expected.
