With the transfer market less than two weeks away from starting in England, Liverpool is starting to prepare its offers for those players that could help Jürgen Klopp's system to return the team to the highest levels of European football. That is why, the Anfield board would be considering bringing in players with winning experience, so a price tag of 35 million euros would seem quite reasonable.

It has been reported that the top priority of Klopp and his coaching staff is to shore up the midfield, for which they are preparing the signing of players like Alexis Mac Allister; young players who will have an immediate impact on the team and in turn contribute to Liverpool's long-term project.

Everything indicates that Liverpool will be one of the most active teams in this transfer market, but that does not mean that they will not have competition when trying to sign some of the players, as other big clubs in Europe will also be looking to strengthen their own squads. In that sense, Liverpool will have to compete if they want to get the players Klopp deems necessary.

One of those players for whom a bidding battle is looming is France's Russia 2018 World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard, who currently plays for Bayern Munich, a team with which he has won every trophy possible and is worth an estimated €35 million, according to the Transfermarkt portal.

The battle for Pavard

Benjamin Pavard has enjoyed a fruitful and winning spell with Bayern since his arrival in 2018, but various reports point to the fact that he is looking for new challenges and that one of his biggest interests would be to play in the Premier League, where Liverpool would be the team most interested in him. However, the German portal Sky Sports reported that both Real Madrid and Barcelona would be interested in the 27-year-old.
