The 2022-2023 season was a failure for Liverpool, because although they managed to stay in the European competition, they failed to qualify for the most important of them, the Champions League. Given this, the Reds' board is already monitoring the players who could arrive at Anfield for the next campaign and one of them would jeopardize Fabinho's starting place.
It is well known that both Jürgen Klopp and his coaching staff and the Liverpool board agree that the team's midfield is the area that requires the greatest investment in the transfer market, so they have in their sights several young players who could arrive before the start of next season.
Of course, the name of Alexis Mac Allister is perhaps the closest to Anfield, since the World Cup winner with Argentina in Qatar 2022 has already said goodbye to his teammates and the fans of Brighton &Hove Albion, and it is expected that in the coming days his arrival at the Reds will be made official. In addition to him, names like Képhren Thuram and Manu Koné also sound as Jürgen Klopp's main targets to strengthen the team's midfield.
However, everything seems to indicate that Liverpool would not be satisfied with those players, because in recent weeks a new prospect has emerged to reinforce the Merseyside squad and it is a young man who plays in the Bundesliga with German giants FC Bayern, who apparently would be willing to let him leave for the right price. We are talking about Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is one of the great promises of Netherlands and, according to the portal Liverpool Echo, FC Bayern would be willing to let him go for an amount close to his current value, which, according to Transfermarkt is 30 million euros. Everything indicates that one of Klopp's main targets will leave his current club and Anfield looks like the right destination for him.
