Franck Kessié will almost certainly be one of the biggest names in the upcoming transfer market for FC Barcelona, as the Ivorian player is not fully in Xavi Hernández's plans, which has sparked all sorts of rumours about a possible exit during the summer transfer window, with the Premier League, and more specifically Liverpool, the club most interested in acquiring the African player.

According to the latest reports, negotiations between the two clubs could begin in the next few days, with the Anfield side coached by Jurgen Klopp putting an offer of around 30 million euros on the table, which could lead to a transfer agreement sooner rather than later, with Franck Kessié heading to English football to join the Reds, who are the club that has shown most interest so far in the arrival of the Ivorian midfielder.

Franck Kessié arrived last summer as a free agent after not renewing his contract with AC Milan, having so far played a total of 1,801 minutes in the Barcelona shirt, which is too much for the 26-year-old African player, who has clearly been in the background throughout the current season, which is precisely one of the reasons that will lead to the midfielder leaving the Camp Nou just a few months after his arrival, and could try his luck in England with Liverpool.

Goodbye Henderson

Liverpool are looking to revamp their midfield and Kessié has emerged as one of their main targets. If the negotiations go ahead, Barcelona could make a sale that would be of great financial benefit to the club, given that the midfielder arrived for free last summer. However, the final decision on his fate will be in the hands of the player himself, although Barcelona could accept the offer of 35 million euros. His arrival would be to replace Jordan Henderson who is being heavily criticised after a disagreement with Mohamed Salah in which he did not choose him as a better player than Bukayo Saka
