Part of the restructuring that Liverpool are currently going through is not only focused on tactical purchases during the summer transfer window, but also on those small but big changes that Jurgen Klopp can make with his players who will not see their departure at least during this coming season, with the German coach setting his sights on that attacking sector that promises to bring substantial improvements.
Although in recent days there have been some rumours that placed striker Darwin Nunez as one of the possible departures of the team on loan, this information has been losing strength as it has no clear foundations, being so far the most logical and understandable thing that the young South American has in the return of Sadio Mane or the signing of Divock Origi that competition that will make him grow and be a better player in his position.
It is evident that the irregular campaign of the Uruguayan has made Klopp have to take action on what will happen with his player and who will be in charge of scoring the goals from now on, having in Divock Origi that hope that he can be their new net breaker having already been in the team in the past and especially for that substantial improvement he had during his stay with the A.C Milan team.
As much as Nunez has been one of the best strikers of the first half year of the 2022 Portuguese league, Origi currently looks like a much more complete and competitive element, and the fact that he has reached the maximum glory with Liverpool both in the Premier League and Champions League makes him an interesting player to have his revenge, being sustainable his return after having sought to increase his level in an Italian team that had an important resurgence this last football year.
