A complete revolution took place in Liverpool when Jürgen Klopp left Borussia Dortmund and decided to join one of England's biggest clubs. The Pool knew that a new golden era was coming, as Klopp was one of the best coaches in the Bundesliga for the German press.

Klopp began his coaching career in 2001 with Mainz 05, before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2008 and then to the Reds in 2015. Speaking to ESPN UK the German said days after his unveiling, "We have to go from sceptics to believers. Things will change.

According to The Athletic, he said the German will continue to be paid 12 million euros per season, as stipulated in his previous deal, which expires in 2024. What caught the eye was that he asked for an extra 2 million euros for his coaching staff, which was the condition for him to renew his contract.

Jürgen is tied to the club until 2026. The Pool coach knows how lucky he is, "I have friends who coach hockey teams who work 5 times more than me, but earn 4% more than me. I'm a person who is aware of how lucky he is and I'm grateful," he said in an interview.
