Jürgen Klopp confirmed Naby Keita is fully fit after illness ruled him out of the opening day game at Fulham, although he was named on the bench last time out in the build-up to the game against Manchester United next Monday. "Bobby trained as normal, he's ready. Naby was ill for a week, last game on the bench, he's fully trained, he's looking very good. All good," said the German manager.

Although Liverpool have no new injuries ahead of the clash with United, several players will be unavailable, with Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calvin Ramsay and Caoimhin Kelleher all currently sidelined. Darwin Nunez is also unavailable, as he will begin his three-match ban against Crystal Palace in this game.

Should he be selected, Fabinho will reach his 100th Premier League appearance for the Reds, while Alisson Becker will enter the top 10 most-capped goalkeepers in the club's history. As for Manchester United, Anthony Martial has returned to training after missing the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury, but Victor Lindelof and Facundo Pellistri are definite absentees for Monday's game, meaning Erik ten Hag will field a similar team to the one that lost to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.

"Victor has not returned to the training ground, but the good news is that Anthony Martial is back in training with the team," ten Hag told United's official website on Friday. The Red Devils announced a deal to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid on Friday night, but the midfielder will miss out against Liverpool.
