Liverpool have reportedly beaten Chelsea's offer for the Ecuadorian midfielder

In the last few hours, the subject of Moisés Caicedo has gained a lot of momentum around a possible offer from another Premier League team in England. As revealed by the British website THE TELEGRAPH through journalist Matt Law, Liverpool have reportedly beaten Chelsea's offer for the Ecuadorian midfielder.

The Reds' interest was reportedly sparked after Chelsea showed a strong interest in Romeo Lavia, a young Southampton player wanted by Jurgen Klopp. The Telegraph reports that last Wednesday, Chelsea already sent an offer of £48 million, however, they are asking for a minimum of £50 million.

On the other hand, Sky Sports added that Bayern Munich would also be interested in Moises Caicedo and could join the fight between Liverpool and Chelsea. Fabrizio Romano also commented on the news. The world transfer journalist claimed that Liverpool have made contact with Brighton for Caicedo.

<strong>The salary</strong>

According to various reports, Caicedo earns around two million at Brighton, and a move to Liverpool would increase his salary by up to ten times, so he would earn more than players like Darwin Nunez who earns 8 million or Luis Diaz who gets 5 million a year.
