Among the long list of players being linked with a move to Liverpool for next season, Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans is the one who has caught the eye of the club both for his ability in his position and his affordable cost, as he is set to become a free agent in a few weeks' time and can decide his immediate future.

Having played for Leicester City for five years, the Belgian's experience in England is an attraction that could convince manager Jürgen Klopp to go for his card once the summer transfer window opens, with James Pearce reporting that Youri is placed within the group of transfer possibilities who could wear the red shirt, causing the likes of Jodan Henderson to see his starting place and even continuity with the club endangered in the near future.

With Tielemans having similar characteristics to Henderson, this player is emerging as a possible replacement for the British captain if his arrival becomes a reality, and after knowing that the Reds will go for the signings of Mason Mount and Alexis Mac Allister, the remaining money could not buy another reinforcement, seeing in the Belgian and his low cost the opportunity to continue strengthening an area that had so many problems in the past.

Henderson could be living out his final days on Merseyside

At 32 years of age and with a career about to enter its final stage, Henderson understands perfectly that his adventure with Liverpool is getting closer and closer to an end, with the Reds board and Klopp himself seeing in men like Tielemans the opportunity to make the generational leap that has been brewing for almost a year now, with the midfield now undergoing major changes with younger players with vast experience in Europe.
