Jurgen Klopp spoke about the injury problems in the build-up to Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Anfield. The Reds were without Joel Matip due to a muscle strain for the Premier League clash, which will keep the midfielder out for around two weeks.

In addition, Roberto Firmino was absent as a precaution, while Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson were only deemed fit to be on the bench due to their own fitness problems. "Joel] will be out for two weeks. We'll see," Klopp told his post-match press conference.

Klopp's words

"The week was crazy; I've lived through a lot of weeks, but it was like we had a witch in the building. Honestly, like every day someone was pulling out [of training] for the craziest reasons. In the end, Joey didn't start. Nat [Phillips] did really well, I have to say, but Joey didn't start because he only came back to training yesterday. Earlier in the week, [he had] a little bit of a problem," he said.

On Firmino, the Nets manager indicated that he received information that there was a little concern about something if he plays too long, so he didn't play that much. "That's the situation. He wasn't too good, but then the game we played I really liked, I really liked the game," he commented.

"We want to fight and I saw that a lot, and we played very well. So, a lot of good performances and I liked it, but that's it now. We've drawn, let's keep going," after drawing against Patrick Vieira's side, where Luis Diaz scored a wonder goal and Darwin Nunez was sent off.
