German manager Jurgen Klopp spoke about the much-rumoured reinforcements in midfield after so many player rumours and with a week to go until the end of the transfer window in the transfer window, as Liverpool remain winless in the Premier League.

According to his statements, a midfielder signing by Liverpool before the deadline is "unlikely" because at this stage there is considered to be a limited pool of talent to improve the team's squad, so there would be no need to bring in anyone else, and Klopp has his sights set on youngsters such as Fabio Carvalho and Harvey Elliot.
