Klopp's lesson to Southgate that has England rejoicing

Jürgen Klopp has proven to be one of the best coaches in the world, because in some way or another he manages to get the best out of his players and make the most of their potential, something that not many coaches in the world can do and that they have even tried to learn from Klopp.

Last season was not exactly the best of all for our Liverpool, as the goal of qualifying for the next edition of the Champions League was missed. However, for a manager like Jürgen Klopp, even the worst of seasons can be a learning one, and so it proved as he managed to get Tren Alexander-Arnold to play in a different position than he is used to.

During the final stretch of the season, Klopp decided to try Alexander-Arnold as a midfielder and the result was simply magnificent, as the 24-year-old English player performed extremely well, so much so that he is now considering playing permanently in that new role.

Klopp's decision seems to have benefited not only Liverpool, but also the England national team, as on other occasions coach Gareth Southgate had had problems placing Trent Alexander-Arnold within his playing scheme, but Klopp's genius seems to have solved that problem and now Southgate has also used the young player as a midfielder.

Alexander-Arnold's words regarding his new role

Trent Alexander-Arnold had developed into one of the best right-backs in the world, however Gareth Southgate seemed to have other players above him in that position. Now, with his new role as a midfielder, Trent has said that he is happy and hopes to continue to play a lot of minutes for England. “Regarding to England, the manager's always tried to find a way to fit me into the team. But now in the role I'm playing at club football, it's definitely opened a new adventure fot me and hopefully it's an option he wants to use a lot”, he said.
