Lionel Messi has finished his adventure in France. He had good numbers with PSG, but when you're the best in the world, sometimes that's not enough. People wanted Champions League and 30 couldn't get it. But today Messi is out of the club and his father confirmed that he wants Barcelona and that is why the strings are already being pulled to make the transfer happen. Last Saturday Messi played his last game in a Parisian shirt. He missed a goal in front of goal and PSG ended up losing 3-2, with no goals from the Argentine, but Kylian Mbappé and Sergio Ramos did score. The fans showed no mercy and booed him. That will be the last memory at the Parc des Princes.
This is how everything seems to indicate that we will have a 'last dance' of Messi with Barcelona as his father has already confirmed that the Argentine wants to be back in Spain. Lionel Messi's father and agent, Jorge, said on Monday that the Argentine star would like to return to Barcelona, but that no decision has been made yet.
"I don't know anything yet," said Jorge Messi, pursued by a cloud of journalists in a video played by Spanish media, when asked if Messi could return to Barcelona. "I would love" him to return to Barca, he added when asked if he would like his son to return to the Catalan capital and also replied with a terse "yes" and a half-smile to the question of whether Barca is also the '10's preferred option. Jorge Messi recalled, however, that his son's eventual return still "depends on a lot of things".
On Liverpool's side there may also be an expected return as Sport 1 reported, Bayern Munich are reportedly hopeful of convincing Sadio Mane to leave the club this summer and are looking to take advantage of interest from Newcastle United and Liverpool.
