The Merseyside team appears to have lost interest

Liverpool has started the season on the right foot. Jurgen Klopp's team has secured a draw and a victory in the recent season and is now preparing for their away match against Newcastle United this weekend for the third round of the Premier League.

The signings to Anfield, for the moment, seem to have slowed down. This is due to the fact that the situation with the squad has considerably improved. It appears that Klopp has decided to establish a playing system with the players he already has.

The overturning of Alexis Mac Allister's red card suspension has helped ease the tense atmosphere that was recently prevailing at Anfield due to the failed signings of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. With that being said, things seem to be improving gradually for Klopp.

However, this won't stop the Merseyside team from seeking additional players to strengthen the squad in the winter transfer market. According to Anfield Watch, Liverpool had Brazilian Andre Trindade as one of their options for this summer. The midfielder from Fluminense has a promising future, and his club is well aware of it.

Liverpool might have lost interest

Anfield Watch reports that for this specific reason,  the Rio-club rejected a €30 million offer from Liverpool as they plan to have him for the upcoming Copa Libertadores fixtures, where Fluminense is currently facing the quarter-finals of the competition. Nevertheless, the Brazilian club indicated that the 22-year-old midfielder has an €80 million release clause. In conclusion, the German boss might just decided to look somewhere else.
