Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson paid a special tribute in the 9-0 win over Bournemouth. The Reds returned to winning ways at Anfield on Saturday and moved to five points, after the first two draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace, as well as a painful defeat to Manchester United.

During the match, Luis Diaz and Roberto Firmino scored two goals each, youngsters Fabio Carvalho and Harvey Elliot - who also dedicated his goal in an emotional way to his late grandmother - managed to get a goal each, while Virgin Van Djik, Trent Alexander-Arnold and an own goal from Chris Mepham wrapped up the scoring.

During this big win, the Reds captain displayed a special shirt to remember Olivia Pratt-Korbel, a 9-year-old girl who was murdered and her death shocked the entire country, a fact Jurgen Klopp had already spoken about in a pregame conference ahead of Saturday's game against Bournemouth.

"That it can happen in a city as special as this, where people look out for each other and come together, makes even less sense. I would like to pass on the condolences of everyone in Liverpool to Olivia's family. They are in my thoughts and prayers," said Klopp.

Olivia's case

Olivia, a nine-year-old girl, was killed in a gangland shooting while inside her own home in Liverpool, which has sent shockwaves across the UK and the attacker is still at large.

The incident happened last Monday night. Olivia's mother, Cheryl Korbel, heard strange noises outside her home in the Dovecot area and opened the door at around 10pm to see what was going on. A 35-year-old man, identified as Joseph Nee, who had been in prison, ran into the house when a gunman fired shots at him.

A bullet struck Cheryl in the wrist and went through her until it hit Olivia - who was standing behind her - in the chest.
