Nearly a year after the arrival of striker Darwin Nunez to Liverpool's attacking ranks, the Uruguayan-born net-breaker seems to be becoming more and more accepted by Reds fans and his national team, with his increasingly consistent performances leading many to believe that he could be the next successor to Luis Suarez's legacy over the years.

While the show of affection for Nunez was already visible from Liverpool fans where on more than one occasion they have chanted his name after a game, now the affection for the striker has escalated to another level with a fan who decided to tattoo a photo of the Uruguayan on his upper right arm, although to tell the truth, the realism of the canvas does not seem to resemble the photo where Nunez poses with the Liverpool jersey.

Without detracting from the merits of the artist who captured the tattoo on the fan's shoulder, it seems that his speciality is not focused on realism, resulting in a face that bears little resemblance to that of the Reds player, with perhaps the most striking aspect being the disproportion of the neck and the pair of guns that Nunez holds in his hands, perhaps making reference to his compatriot Luis Suarez, who for many years has also been known as the "pistolero" (gunman).

Nunez's tattoo has caused hilarious reactions

The video of Nunez's tattoo was originally posted on TikTok's numericaltiktok account, and the post has reached a huge audience with hundreds of users leaving their opinions, with many claiming that the end result closely resembles a figure on Instagram called Jhon Pork, as well as a few others claiming that the canvas is a collaboration with the face of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
