According to 1,500 Liverpool fans, they have confidence in Jürgen Klopp and his coaching staff, with a 95.7% approval rating, higher than any other team surveyed. They also have an emotional attachment to the team of 90.2%. In comparison, Arsenal score 80.9 per cent and Manchester United an alarming 40.7 per cent.
The atmosphere inside Anfield received 91.4 per cent, second only to Newcastle United's 93.4 per cent. Fans of Premiership champions Manchester City gave the atmosphere at the Etihad a 78.5 per cent approval rating, while fans of neighbours United gave Old Trafford just 57.3 per cent.
Despite all the complaints about some of the decisions, Reds fans said they were happy with the owners at 83.8 per cent, although that figure was lower than the totals for City, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest. Everton owner Farhad Moshiri only scored 41 per cent satisfaction, while Manchester United's Glazers could only muster 11.7 per cent.
Fans' satisfaction with the approach to the transfer window yielded the lowest approval rating of Liverpool supporters at 80.9 per cent, but this is only slightly lower than Arsenal and Newcastle fans, with Forest fans 86 per cent satisfied with their relentless dealings this summer.
On the overall happiness level, 87.6% makes Liverpool fans the most satisfied in the Premier League. They are followed by Forest, Newcastle and City, and the least satisfied are Chelsea (67.5%), Everton (44%) and Manchester United (31.8%).
