Paul Robinson is a former goalkeeper that played for a few teams in the Premier League like Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur, besides being part of England's National team in more than 40 games.

This summer, Liverpool didn't take substitute irish goalkeeper Caoimhim Kelleher, and that brought a lot of rumours about his near future and if he shoul abandon Liverpool FC to join another club that will give him new and more opportunities. Despite that, and despite the fact that Paul Robinson never played for the Reds, he thinks it would be a huge mistake if he leaves.
“It is imperative that they keep him from a Liverpool point of view," Robinson told Football Insider. “He is so young. He has shown the ability that he has got. There is no doubt about it, he has the ability to play week in, week out as a number one." he continued to say about the young goalkeeper.
The truth is, Kelleher has a very tough task if he wants to gain more relevance in Liverpool's starting eleven because brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker is one of the best in the game. Instead, Kelleher only played 4 games the past two seasons in the Premier League and just seven games the past 3 seasons of the League's Cup.
