The European transfer market is about to start and the big teams in Europe have already started to test the waters to get the best players available. This usually results in two or more clubs fighting for the same player and on this occasion our Liverpool is trying to snatch a signing that AC Milan had practically sealed.
Liverpool has made clear its need to get young players who can immediately contribute to the team's aspirations for a season in which they will not play Champions League, and in that sense Jürgen Klopp's top priority is to sign midfielders.
Alexis Mac Allister, Manu Koné and Képhren Thuram are some of the most talked-about names to arrive at Anfield, but it is a fact that they are not the only prospects under the radar of the Reds' board, as they are expected to be one of the most active teams in the next transfer market that starts on June 14 in England.
In this way, Jorg Schmadtke and Jürgen Klopp are on the lookout for any player who is within their budget and meets the expectations of the coaching staff to make offers for him, even if that means taking him away from other teams that have already made approaches for these players. Such is the case of Daichi Kamada, player of Eintracht Frankfurt, who had already reached a verbal agreement with AC Milan, but in the face of Liverpool's interest has put that arrangement on hold.
In recent days, it was reported that the 26-year-old Japanese jewel, Daichi Kamada, was one signature away from joining Serie A's AC Milan and that a verbal agreement had even been reached between player and board. However, in the last few hours Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in him and, according to Calciomercato, are confident of snatching him and bringing him to Anfield.
