Since the end of the 2022-2023 season, Liverpool have had their sights set on putting behind them the failure to qualify for the next edition of the Champions League by finishing outside the top four in the Premier League. After this, Jürgen Klopp has decided that the team's priority will be to sign young players, but everything seems to indicate that they will have to fight against Real Madrid for one of their objectives.

Liverpool have already managed to secure the first of their signings, as the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister was Klopp's absolute priority in recent weeks, and just a few days ago his arrival at Anfield was made official. Mac Allister, who won the World Cup in Qatar 2022, would be just the first of several reinforcements that Jürgen Klopp has in mind.

Already in the past months Liverpool had to compete with Real Madrid as both teams were after the same target: Jude Bellingham. In the end, Borussia Dortmund's demands were too high for the Reds and the 19-year-old English midfielder signed with the Spanish club for €103 million.

Now, it seems that another fight is looming between Liverpool and Real Madrid for a young player that many see as a player capable of changing the destiny of a club, since at 18 years of age he is considered the ultimate jewel of Turkish football. We are talking about Arda Güler, a midfielder who currently plays for Fenerbahce.

Who is Arda Güler?

Arda Güler is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Fenerbahce in the Turkish league. At 18 years of age, Güler is Turkey's top player and has attracted the interest of several big clubs in Europe. For now, Liverpool and Real Madrid are the most interested in him.
