This season our Liverpool will have to play in the Europa League, the first time in seven years that the Reds will not be in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, following a disappointing 2022-2023 campaign in which they failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League.

However, the time for regrets is behind us and now it is time to focus and prepare to win this trophy, which has been won on three previous occasions by our Liverpool, and which also grants a ticket to next season's Champions League. It is no secret that Jürgen Klopp and his team are overwhelming favorites to take home this trophy, the only one the German tactician has yet to win as Reds coach.

Last week, the three opponents we will face during the Europa League group stage were announced. LASK, Toulouse and Union St. Gilloise, will be the three teams we will have to face before advancing to the knockout round, being the match against the Belgian club a special one since our Alexis Mac Allister will face his brother who plays for that team.

Now, in addition to knowing who our Liverpool will face, the schedule of these matches and the dates on which they will take place have been announced, being the debut of our team in this 2023-2024 edition of the Europa League on September 21 as a visitor for which they will have to travel to Austria, and will close the group stage playing in Belgium against Union St. Gilloise.

Dates and times of the Europa League group stage for Liverpool

The debut against LASK will be on September 21 at 5:45 pm. The next two games will be played at Anfield on October 5 and 26 against Union St. Gilloise and Toulouse respectively at 8 pm both games. Then on November 9 at Toulouse at 5:45 pm. The fifth game will be at Anfield against LASK at 8 pm on November 30 and the group stage will culminate on December 14 at 5:45 pm in Belgium against Union St. Gilloise. All kick-off times are UK time.
