The Sun newspaper in London last weekend recalled the following after Ecuador's Moises Caicedo's remarkable performance in Brighton & Hove Albion's 5-2 thrashing of Leicester: "You can see why (manager) Graham Potter said when the transfer window opened that £42 million ($48.340 million) alone would cover the cost of Ecuador's Caicedo's boots and that he is worth £100 million ($115 million)".

Moises Caicedo admits he is happy at Brighton amid rumours linking him with Liverpool. The Reds are believed to be interested in signing Caicedo, 20, after a surprising start to the season. The Ecuador international has featured in all six of Brighton's Premier League games.

The London paper added: "A number of clubs were reportedly interested in signing Caicedo, including Liverpool and Manchester United, before the transfer window closed. The youngster was not snapped up by a potential suitor and will remain at Brighton until at least January".

Sport Bild reports that Liverpool are keen to sign Bellingham and are prepared to go to crazy lengths to secure his signature, something the Reds' midfield, which is due for renewal, needs. The aim would be to sign him next summer and they would be willing to offer 100 million euros for Jude.

Dream midfield

If the signings of Caicedo and Bellingham are completed, Liverpool could form a dream midfield as they would complete a trident with Thiago Alcantara or, failing that, with captain Jordan Henderson. The arrival of players also helps to boost the attack as Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez will receive better assists.
