Liverpool are on a mission to begin a major rebuild as soon as possible

Liverpool have a clear mission to start as soon as possible an important reconstruction under German coach Jurgen Klopp after a season in which the Anfield side have failed to reach any of the European competitions ahead of the 2032/2024 season, and are already thinking about various signings, among which stands out above all that of Brighton's Argentine player, Alexis Mac Allister, for whom they would be willing to go all out for an offer of 80 million euros.

The Argentinian player, according to Fabrizio Romano, has long been a key player in the team coached by Roberto de Zerbi, demonstrating his ability to create scoring chances and score important goals, being his enormous versatility on the field which has served to attract the attention of Liverpool, who as we say are aware of the need to make a significant financial investment to acquire the services of the South American midfielder, who has become known internationally after the World Cup in Qatar.

Liverpool have already initiated the first contacts with Brighton to make an offer of 80 million euros, all this while the Anfield club is not the only one interested in Alexis Mac Allister who we will see where he ends up playing next season, being clear that he will be one of the main protagonists of the next transfer market that opens on July 1, becoming the most expensive sale in the history of Brighton.

Klopp's concern

According to several local media reports, Klopp is concerned about the high amount that the club will have to pay to sign the Argentine, since initially they had planned that it would only be 60 million, but that offer was rejected so they had to increase it, something that can hit the club's finances in a year in which they will not participate in the Champions League.
