Liverpool full-back Connor Bradley was among the Reds players who took part in the first round of the 2022-23 Carabao Cup in midweek. Bradley scored a goal to open his senior goalscoring account for his loan club Bolton Wanderers.

He was substituted in the 75th minute against Salford City, but it didn't take long for him to make his presence felt on the scoresheet as he scored a 25-yard wonder goal two minutes after coming on. Wanderers defeated the Ammies 5-1 at the University of Bolton Stadium.
