Jürgen Klopp is smiling as his first signing of the transfer window has been confirmed. Alexis Mac Allister, who is a World Cup winner with Argentina, will arrive on Merseyside in the summer after TyC Sports in Argentina confirmed that the 24-year-old midfielder has already informed the seagulls of his decision.

The arrival of Alexis will not only bring a significant sale of jerseys that, after one season, will once again bear the number '10', now with the surname Mac Allister. This joy is not entirely shared by the squad, as one of the club's legends, Jordan Henderson, has shown himself to be distant and has not even said anything about it.

Mac Allister will play for his fourth professional club, after making his debut for Argentinos Juniors in 2016, spending time on loan at Boca Juniors and staying at Brighton. The talented Argentinian midfielder will help the attack, finding an ally in Mohamed Salah. Alongside Alexis a crop of youngsters will take the reins at the club.

New season, new faces at Anfield

Obviously, 32-year-old Henderson is one of the first to be affected by Klopp's decision, as despite being a club legend, his place in the first team is not certain, as FSG's desire is to renew all the lines, whatever it takes, and despite being the captain of The Pool, the fans are no longer happy with him after his actions and statements in recent days.
