The Argentinian has reportedly said goodbye to his Brighton team-mates.

One of the big decisions FSG have made this summer is the signing of a World Cup winner, as according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the signing of Alexis Mac Allister has been finalised and he will join the team for the pre-season which starts at the end of July in Kallang, Singapore.

In addition to Alexis, FSG could prepare another coup with the signing of Lionel Messi, yes, Messi, the same one who played his last game as a Paris Saint Germain player this weekend after deciding not to renew with the League One champions after playing from 2021 until this summer 2023.

A few months ago Lionel Messi's arrival in the Premier League would have sounded impossible, as with the World Cup win, Lio would have been comfortable in Paris, where he was on the verge of winning the treble, but the elimination at the hands of Bayern in the Champions League and Marseille in the Cup, made the fans blow Messi out of the water at every game.

This is what FSG and Klopp would have to do to get Messi to play for Liverpool

This prompted the Argentine to make the decision to leave. Now as a free agent, Klopp would be prepared to give him almost £680,000 per week, meaning an increase on what he was receiving in France, according to Salary Sports, which revealed the Argentina World Cup winner's salary. The Reds' option is in addition to Arabia and Barcelona's bid for Messi's services.
