Senegal's Sadio Mané is not living his best moment at Bayern Munich

Senegal's Sadio Mané is not living his best moment at Bayern Munich. He arrived at the German club as a star signing after his successful spell at Liverpool; however, injuries and extra-sporting controversies have not allowed him to shine as expected. Recently, the striker was sanctioned by his club after assaulting Leroy Sané, one of his teammates in the Bavarian squad. Despite this, the team is considering a more extreme measure towards him.

According to various media reports in Germany, Mané will not remain at Bayern Munich at the end of the season, so one of the options is for him to play on loan at another club. The Senegalese is not in the plans of coach Thomas Tuchel and his relationship within the squad is not the best. "Signing Mané is considered a mistake, especially with his salary of more than 20 million euros a year. After his disappointing performances, a joke is circulating in the Säbener Straße that Bayern signed Mané's twin brother, not Liverpool's," says Sky Sports journalist Florian Plattenberg.

His crude present at the Bavarian club would make Sadio Mané reconsider the option of returning to the Premier League, as Football Insider reports. Although he would like to play for Liverpool again, the idea, according to this media, is impossible because of his age (31 years) and the composition of the team. It should be recalled that Mané has a contract with Bayern Munich until June 2025. The team, among other things, is preparing to face at home the second leg against Manchester City in the Champions League, where they are losing the series by a score of 3 - 0.

Mané wants Gravenberch

According to German newspaper Bild, Mané has made the signing of Dutchman Ryan Gravenberch, with whom he coincided in his brief spell with Bayern Munich, a condition for his return to Liverpool. James Pearc tells The Athletic that Liverpool representatives met the midfielder's father, Ryan Snr, in the Netherlands earlier this month and the talks were positive.
