The Reds boss could fight to bring the Senegalese back

After an unproductive season for Liverpool in which only a place in next season's UEFA Champions League is the only objective available, the Reds are looking to secure a place in the European competition and are also considering what the next campaign will look like with the reinforcements they have in mind.

In the Reds' plans for next season, the summer transfer window is one of the most crucial for Klopp and his coaching staff, as the German tactician has his sights set on strengthening the midfield in order to improve stability and performance against demanding opponents, even contemplating expanding his options for improvement and trying to bring back Senegalese striker Sadio Mané.

When it seemed that Liverpool's idea was only to reinforce with a couple of midfield players, in recent days the possibility of integrating more elements has been seen in a positive way, and after Sadio Mané's bad sporting year at Bayern Munich, the option of having the African striker back for a season has been on the mind of the coach who will try to convince him to return when he sees him during the summer.

Once the Premier League campaign is over for the Reds and Klopp and his players are preparing for pre-season, the German manager will be looking for an opportunity to speak to the Senegalese in a tournament that is being arranged between a number of European sides, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich being considered, Klopp could during those days try to convince the striker to return to his former home to make a mutual agreement of support where the Reds are a winning club and the African the great striker he was a few months ago.
